Chimi Wangmo is a former teacher from Bhutan who spent over 13 years educating students from diverse backgrounds and across various grade levels. A voracious reader and passionate lover of poetry, she has always been captivated by the transformative power of words and their ability to heal the soul. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Education from Samtse College of Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in English from Sherubtse College in Kanglung, Bhutan, and Masters Degree in Professional Accounting from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. Her rich academic and life journey, from the classroom in Bhutan to facing life’s arduous challenges abroad, deepens the emotional truth in her writing. Now based in New York, Chimi continues to explore themes of resilience, identity, and healing. "Love and Fulfilment After Deceit" is her debut novel, inspired by the strength of a woman rising after profound heartbreak that life threw at her.
